The tiny little furry thing try as hard as it can but it’s a battle it can win.
The meerkat, which is also know as suricate in a few areas of the world, is a small furry mammal that belongs to the mongoose family. You can find meerkats living in many parts of the Kalahari Desert in Botswana, the Namib Desert in Namibia, the southwestern region of Angola, and in South Africa. The funny little creatures are highly sociable and live their lives in groups composed of up to 20 members. With so many family members around caring for each other, is easy to understand why our cute little friend above has the time to have a nap while his brothers and sisters are awake in the lookout for predators, not that is the case since they live in captivity under a much safer environment, which allows them to live up to double of what they would in the wild.
